There's a book on top. It tells the story of René Schickele, a writer between two cultures.
Hedi Schulitz, author of Karlsruhe, wrote the most important stages of Schickele's life. He sent these pages to Vérok Gnos to Obernai/France. She made a first painting, which she sent to Freudenstadt/Germany where Gloria Keller finished the drawing.
